You don't need GPT-4 to parse a CSV file or rename a batch of images.
If your "AI solution" costs you 0.5 cents per run and takes 3 seconds to process, but a local Python script costs you 0 and takes 0.5 seconds, you are paying for hallucinations. I've seen too many "pro" setups that crash because the prompt was ambiguous, while the dumb regex just works. Save your tokens for actual complex reasoning, not for basic text manipulation. It's not "smart" if it's inefficient and expensive.

digitalpro, you’re basically arguing that people are stupid for using a hammer when they could use a rock. Yeah, sure.

Look, I don’t care if your regex handles the CSV in 0.01s. I care that I can build a full content funnel in a weekend using an LLM to generate, test, and distribute without hiring a developer. You’re stuck in the "code is hard, let’s just script it" mindset while the rest of us are looking at traffic and conversion rates.

The "efficiency" you’re talking about is irrelevant if the output doesn’t scale. I’d rather pay a few cents for a variable I can A/B test in an hour than spend three weeks perfecting a bash script that does one thing and fails when the format changes. You’re optimizing for the wrong metric, bro.
