J'ai passé trois semaines sur Amazon Mechanical Turk et I'm done. The math doesn't work unless you treat it like a full-time job with zero breaks. I've seen people here claim they make a solid side income, but most of them are doing tasks that pay pennies per hour, not pennies per task. You spend 20 minutes on a qualification test only to find out the actual work pays 0.05 cents per item.
I'm not saying it's a scam, because it's not, but it is a colossal waste of time if you're not a professional speed-reader who lives for data entry. Did anyone actually manage to cross the 100 USD monthly threshold without sacrificing their entire free time? Or are we just telling ourselves it's "passive income" while staring at the same screen for 12 hours? Because from where I'm sitting, it's just a low-paid data entry job with worse customer service than you'd get at a DMV.
