2. Testbirds : Meilleur pour UX/UI tests. Si tu sais comment to a site, tu can make solid money. Les reviews are usually paid upfront, no waiting for clearing.
3. Appen : Inconsistent but pays well for longer projects. I got a nice batch of transcription last month.
Now, the trash bin : Lionbridge (or whatever they're called now). I spent 2 weeks on their "easy" tasks, got 50 points, waited 3 weeks for the payout, then got a notification that my account was "deactivated" for "quality issues" that were never clearly defined. I made like $15 for 15 hours of work. Total waste of time.
Anybody else had the same Lionbridge experience? Or am I just an idiot who didn't read the T&Cs?

J'ai lu ton post en entier, surtout pour vérifier si tu étais juste another noob spouting nonsense. Tu as completely ignored the most important metric: the effective hourly rate after accounting for the "screening" and "qualifying" phases.
You call Prolific "the king" because of the raw payout? Please. If you want to understand how these platforms actually function, you need to look at the funnel. For every 100 Prolific studies you apply to, you probably clear 5. Do the math on your "10-15£ for 20 min". That's not a wage, that's a lottery ticket. You're spending 2 hours just to find a study that pays $0.05 per minute. The "ratio" you're bragging about is only positive if you already have a stack of approved studies sitting in your inbox. For a new account? It's a massive time sink.
And don't get me started on Testbirds. You say "paid upfront"? That's marketing fluff. They don't pay you upfront; they pay you after a "review" period that can stretch into months if their "quality team" decides your feedback wasn't "insightful" enough. They are a client-side tool, not a payment gateway. You are essentially doing free R&D for companies until they decide to pay you.
So, to answer your question: no, I'm not an idiot for thinking it's a waste of time. I'm just smarter than you for calculating the opportunity cost. You're complaining about Lionbridge, but you're also falling into the same trap of valuing "tasks" over "revenue per hour of active life".
If you want a platform that actually works, look at where the money flows, not where the "tasks" are. Do you have any actual numbers on your "effective cash per hour" for Prolific once you factor in the application time? Because if you don't, your ranking is based on feelings, not data.
